Let me start off by saying this, I cannot wait for the next tasting menu! A concept created by Chef Nico Simone of fine dining at a fixed price. Creating a six course tasting menu based on specific themes and inspirations that change every six weeks. This was my first visit with the theme, The Chippie. Now as I’m not the greatest lover of fish I immediately went for the vegetarian menu. They were super flexible as I came to realise once there, that you can choose a course off the other menu if that’s what you prefer. I loved all my courses, apart from dessert I just couldn’t get on board with the texture of it, I wasn’t bothered at this point I was already so overwhelmed by what I had just eaten.
Really I was impressed by it all, the staff and atmosphere were great. At the start of each course explaining the dish we were about to discover and so helpful with any queries we had about the food. Although small, I was stuffed could have maybe just squeezed in a 7th course! I’m eager for the next menu, Childhood. Finding inspiration from all our favourites growing up.
